1991 Next Vs. Sun Application Development Competiton

Here is an 18 minute video from November 1991, showing a "competiton" between a pair of Next and Sun application developers. Dig the $15,000 and $22,000 workstations with 32MB of RAM and 400MB of hard disk space. Wow! A flash from the past! This came up today in the Yahoo Videoblogging Group and so I captured this old promo video tape that I got back when I was working in the Microcomputer Laboratory at UC Santa Barbara. We had a really nifty Next lab with about 20 workstations. It was very cool. Note that the Next is a "Color" model - whoot! Those were the days, my friends ... Click the pic to view the vid.
